Welcome to Decrolux. You're joining a team that's spent years building a reputation as a trusted name in commercial and industrial lighting across Australia — and every person here plays a part in keeping that reputation strong.
This onboarding program will walk you through who we are, what we do, and how we work. You'll learn about our products, our systems, and the processes that help us deliver for our customers.
We believe in doing the job properly, backing each other up, and taking pride in the work — not just talking about it. If a customer needs help fast, someone here picks up the phone. That's the standard.
Ask questions. Be curious. Your manager and colleagues are here to help you settle in.
Welcome to the team.
- Describe the kind of workplace Decrolux is aiming to be
- Explain what's expected of you day to day, from attendance to how you present
- Describe the standard we hold ourselves to with customers
- Know where to find our full policies, and what to do if you're unsure
Your inbox was designed to receive mail. It was never designed to be your to-do list, your filing cabinet, your diary and your memory all at once - but that's what most of us use it for, and that's why it feels heavy.
Outlook Academy teaches the STACK method: six folders, one decision per email, and an inbox that ends the day empty. It works whether you get 20 emails a day or 200.
By the end you'll be able to:
- Explain why an empty inbox is a filing outcome, not a productivity contest
- Sort any email into one of six folders in under three seconds, using the 5-minute rule
- Build the folders, Quick Steps and rules in Outlook that make that a one-click move
- Set a realistic target number for each folder and know what to do when you're over it
- Use flagging and deleting to keep the system light, rather than letting folders quietly fill
